Let us first say that it’s not a myth that weight loss only gets harder as you get older. Women who are trying to lose just a few kilograms will have a much harder time at 40 years than they did at 20. Simple fact is as the body changes, so too should your weight loss system.
Here are five easy ways & tricks by our Slimming Expert to get that fabulous summer body:
1. Monitor your Daily Calorie Consumption
Always ensure that you consume a majority of your calories before 3 PM. Women who eat their biggest meals early in the day shed more weight than those who eat the same number of calories later in the day. Have a light dinner & don’t let lunch get pushed back into the late afternoon. Don’t starve yourself. Starving yourself will actually hurt your chances of losing weight, because your metabolism slows when it doesn’t get food. Have small meals every 2 hours. Here is what we suggest:
9 am: Cereals
11 am: One Fruit
1 pm: Lunch which includes Salad, Dal and Multi Grain Rotis (2)
3 pm: One Fruit/Glass of Buttermilk or Juice
5 pm: Some Almonds/Walnuts or Chana or Poha or Sukha Bhel
Between 7 pm to 8 pm: Dinner which should be light & accompanied with a bowl of Salad or Soup.

2. Get your hand out of the Cookie Jar & increase your daily intake of water
Avoid sodas, even the diet ones. They contribute to the 80% Sugar in your body! Though diet soda offers a zero calorie alternative to regular soda, it still interferes with weight loss. Hence, if you’re serious about getting that body looking in top shape, increase your daily intake of water. You can add Mint or a Fresh Fruit in your water to cut the taste. The recommended daily intake is actually about Nine Glasses a day.
Cheat Tip: Download Water Alarm apps which reminds you every hour to have a glass of water.

3. Crash Diet – a complete NO NO
If you’ve been struggling with weight issues & have been on a yo-yo diet your whole life, you have changed your body composition. When you crash diet, you’re more likely to lose muscle, rather than fat. So when you go off the diet, you tend to regain that weight in the form of fat, not muscle. So in the end, you end up weighing the same but with a higher percentage of fat.
And as we know, fat is much harder to lose than muscle or water weight. This means the next time you try to lose weight, it will be harder than the time before. You’ve even thought of going under the knife. Gulp!
Cheat Tip: Try U-Lipo with us and you can lose up to 8cm per session, without undergoing surgery. Unlike the conventional liposuction methods, which are expensive, surgery-intensive, risky and painful, with U-Lipo you can completely avoid the side effects of Liposuction.
4. Brew some tea to banish bloat
Simply grate some ginger, which is known to soothe the digestive track, into hot water, then add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, or steep about 5 grams of dried dandelion leaf (a diuretic) in one cup of hot water, strain, and drink once the water cools slightly. Other varieties of tea shown to help with gas include peppermint and chamomile.
5. Sweet dreams
If you tend to crave unhealthy glutton ridden foods, like cookies or double cheese pizza, the day after a late night, you’re not the only one.
Study shows that lack of sleep leads to 50% higher carb cravings. And the more tired you feel, the stronger those cravings are because your body is literally trying to get more energy. You need around seven hours of sleep every night to keep these cravings at bay
